How to obtain a Real Estate License
Step by Step Process
First, enroll in real estate Pre-License Real Estate Classes. (check our CLASSES page for upcoming real estate classes) www.eastidahorealestateschool.com/classes
All Idaho real estate license applicants must:
- Be 18 or older.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Complete pre-license courses Module 1 and Module 2.
- Pass state and national portions of appropriate licensing exam at Pearson Vue.
- Be fingerprinted through Pearson VUE or County Sheriff.
- Register for Idaho Real Estate Commission (IREC) online account.
- Once fingerprints clear, send Salesperson Application to the Commission.
- With approved application ,select an Active Licensed Designated Broker to work with to activate your license.
- Obtain Errors & Omissions insurance with Broker.
- Optional: Select a Realtor Association and subscribe to Multiple Listing Service
